Geography
Bukit Panjang District is located approximately 15km northwest of the City in the West Region. Bukit Panjang District is bounded by Upper Bukit Timah Road and Pang Sua Canal to the west; Kranji Expressway (KJE) to the north; Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) to the east; and Dairy Farm Road to the south. Bukit Panjang also administered Upper Peirce Reservoir, which is within the Central Water Catchment. It covers an area of approximately 1,321 hectares with an estimated population of 125,700 as of June 2011.

Division
Bukit Panjang District comprises 1 New Town (Bukit Panjang New Town) and 2 Estates (Cashew and Dairy Farm). Bukit Panjang District also administered Upper Peirce Reservoir of the Central Water Catchment. In total, Bukit Panjang District is sub-divided into 9 neighbourhoods.

Bukit Panjang New Town encompass 489 hectares and is divided into 6 neighbourhoods, namely Neighbourhood 1, Neighbourhood 2, Neighbourhood 3, Neighbourhood 4, Neighbourhood 5 and Neighbourhood 6.
