Science Park

The provision for a Technology Corridor from the City to Jurong was first proposed in the 1971 Concept Plan. Working closely with Jurong Town Corporation (JTC), the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) designated the first two business parks, Science Park I & II in Kent Ridge to be near institutions of higher learning, in this case, the National University of Singapore.
