Geography
Located approximately 15km west of the City in the West Region, Jurong District is bounded by Poyan Reservoir, Choa Chu Kang Cemeteries, Jalan Bahar and Pan Island Expressway (PIE) to the north, Toh Tuck Avenue and Sungei Pandan to the east and Selat Pandan to the south. It covers an area of approximately 11,709 hectares with a population of 357,100 as of June 2011.

Division
Jurong District comprises 2 New Towns (Jurong East and Jurong West), 1 Industrial Town (Jurong), 1 Estate (Nanyang) and 2 Sub-Districts (Jurong Island and Tuas). Jurong District also administered Poyan Reservoir and Tengeh Reservoir of the Western Water Catchment. In total, Jurong District is sub-divided into 59 neighbourhoods.

Jurong East New Town encompass 384 hectares and is divided into 9 neighbourhoods, namely Jurong East Neighbourhood 1, Jurong East Neighbourhood 2, Jurong East Neighbourhood 3, Teban Gardens / Pandan Gardens, Pandan Reservoir, Jurong Lake, Jurong Regional Centre, International Business Park and Toh Guan.

Jurong West New Town encompass 987 hectares and is divided into 10 neighbourhoods, namely Jurong West Neighbourhood 1 (Taman Jurong), Jurong West Neighbourhood 2 (Boon Lay), Jurong West Neighbourhood 2 Extension (Bulim), Jurong West Neighbourhood 3 (Taman Jurong), Jurong West Neighbourhood 4, Jurong West Neighbourhood 5, Jurong West Neighbourhood 6, Jurong West Neighbourhood 7, Jurong West Neighbourhood 8 and Jurong West Neighbourhood 9.

Jurong Industrial Town is divided into 21 neighbourhoods, namely Chin Bee, Tukang, Soon Lee, Tractor, Kian Teck, Lok Yang, Joo Koon, Pandan, Penjuru, Jurong Scrapyard, Jalan Buroh, Jurong Port, Jurong Hill, Liu Fang, Tanjong Kling, Jurong Refinery, Benoi, Gul, Tanjong Gul, Pasir Laba and SAFTI.

Nanyang Estate contains 2 neighbourhoods, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Dragon Kiln Village.

Jurong Island Sub-District comprises 10 neighbourhoods, namely Merlimau, Seraya, Ayer Merbau, Ayer Chawan, Sakra, Pesek, Tembusu, Banyan, Angsana and Meranti.

Tuas Sub-District comprises 5 neighbourhoods, namely Tuas, Tuas West, Tuas South, Tuas View and Tuas View Extension.
